    Tingginya kasus penyakit menular seksual khususnya pada kelompok usia remaja salah satu penyebabnya adalah akibat pergaulan bebas. Kebanyakan penderita penyakit menular seksual adalah remaja berusia 15-29 tahun, tetapi ada juga bayi yang tertular dari ibunya. Hal ini dapat disebabkan karena tingkat pengetahuan remaja yang masih relatif rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan remaja terhadap Penyakit Menular Seksual (PMS) di daerah Kalibokor Surabaya Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan metode cross sectional. Populasi adalah semua seluruh remaja yang b erusia 12-20 yang ada di daerah Kalibokor sebanyak 33 orang dan sampel sebanyak 30 responden yang diambil secara probability sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan remaja tentang penyakit menular seksual. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara pengisian kuesioner kemudian diolah dan dianalisis secara naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 responden didapatkan sebagian besar (68,8 %) responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kurang tentang penyakit menular seksual. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan pihak sekolah maupun pihak di luar sekolah dapat memberikan informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan pendidikan seks kepada siswa tersebut

Therefore, the demand for Third Party Logistics (3PL) services is increasing because companies want to focus on their business processes so that freight forwarders are required to perform services in accordance with customer expectations. But it certainly will not be separated from a threat as a causal factor that raises the risk that must be faced by freight forwarders. In this case the freight forwarder company must increase the resilience of Third Party Logistics to be able to survive in the face of disruption. The purpose of this study is to determine the priority of risk by creating a model using a dynamic system that will be used by the company to do risk mitigation and determine the level of resilience Third Party Logistic (3PL) using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method and to determine the location of the enabler in the 1st quadrant, 2, 3 or 4 using MICMAC analysis. The results showed that the highest risk priority was product risk with a value of 2 out of the average predetermined criteria. Whereas the Third Party Logistic (3PL) endurance level is obtained with the highest level, namely N2 (Velocity of handling outbound overweight product) and the one with the highest driver power and dependence value, namely N7 (Velocity of shipping tracking).     Radical Scavenging Activity and Acute Toxicity of Bitter Melon (Momordica Charantia L.) Seed Oil

    Bitter Gourd or bitter melon (Momordica Charantia L.) is a common type of vegetable and safe for daily consumption. The seeds are part of bitter gourd that useless. Research on bitter melon seed oil has promising commercial applications. This study aims to determine the antioxidant potential and safety of bitter melon seed oil through acute toxicity study. The content of phenols, flavonoids, and antioxidant activity was analyzed. The antioxidant activity was evaluated using the DPPH method. Antioxidant activity is expressed as an IC-50 value. The results showed that the phenol content of bitter melon seed oil was 0.0118 ±0.0006%, the flavonoid content was 0.0127±0.0004%. From the antioxidant activity study, the IC-50 of vitamin C was 2.41 μg / ml, while an IC-50 of bitter melon seed oil was 11.31 ± 0.77 mg/ml. The results of this antioxidant activity study showed very weak activity. The results of the acute-toxicity study show LD-50 cannot be determined precisely because up to the highest dose of 100 ml/kg does not cause death even though it causes toxic symptoms such as diarrhea. Overall, test results indicate that bitter melon seed oil is a compound that is categorized as practically non-toxic with low antioxidant activity

    MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA PADA MATERI KOLOID

    The aim of this study was to determine the influence of Project Based Learning on creative thinking skills of student on colloid concept. The method used in this study was quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was second semester students of SMAN 5 in Bekasi of Academic Years 2014/2015. Samples are class XI MIA-4 as the experimental class (given treatment by project-based learning model), and class MIA XI-2 as the control class (given treatment by lecture method). Data collection techniques were gained through an essay test instrument. Data value of the average pretest-posttest control group and experimental group were analyzed using t-test. The average of pretest score for control class is 19.89 and experiment class is 18.11, while the average of postest score of control class is 24.5 and experimental class is 29.35. The t-test result showed that tcount (7.35) was greater than ttable (2.0049) with significance level 5%, so the research hypothesis which states that there are significant influence of project-based learning to the creative thinking skills of students on colloid concept are accepted. In order to obtain the greatest number of information about creative thinking skills, when implemented project based learning must consider several things, that are: time management, formulation of the problem, step of project work, and assessment systems should be informed to the students in a clear and focused so that students can understand and have a passion in running the project.  Keywords: Project Based Learning, Creative Thinking, Colloid.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif  siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian noneqivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui instrumen tes yang kemudian hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan Uji t. Hasil Uji t instrumen menunjukkan bahwa thitung sebesar  7,35 lebih besar dari ttabel  yaitu 2,0049 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, maka hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif  siswa diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada materi koloid.     INDONESIA: Konsep-konsep mengarang merupakan rekaman dari sebuah keadaan, peristiwa atau hal yang baru terjadi, kemudian mengembangkan karyannya yang bersifat umum mencakup luar daerah, fenomena kejadian alam bahkan masalah yang global. Manfaat tersebut untuk menguasai dalam mengarang dengan baik. Media Visual adalah alat peraga untuk menangkap dan memproses jalannya pembelajaran. Mengarang merupakan kesanggupan seseorang untuk melakukan kegiatan menulis yang sangat bermanfaat. Namun banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan saat ingin melakukannya. Hal itu terjadi karena siswa belum tidak menguasai dalam kemampuan mengarang. Cerita Pendek salah satu karya fiksi berbentuk proses yang selesai dibaca. Penekanan utama dalam pengajaran media visual adalah pada nilai kongret dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah penggunakan media visual dapat mengalami peningkatan kemampuan mengarang cerita pendek pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III SDN Jatimulyo 3 Malang. Tahap- tahap dalam penggunaan media visual adalah mengorganisasikan dalam kelompok kerja, merencanakan tugas kegiatan kelompok, melaksanakan pembelajaran, mempersiapkan laporan akhir dan evaluasi kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan. Penelitian yang peneliti lakukan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yakni suatu penelitian yang mengkaji proses pembelajaran dikaitkan dengan pengoptimalan penggunaan metode, media, strategi pembelajaran, dalam kegiatan perbaikan pembelajaran tersebut diharapkan dapat mengalami peningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran siswa. Urutan kegiatan penelitian mencakup: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Untuk pengecekan keabsahan temuan peneliti menggunakan ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi dan pemeriksaan teman sejawat melalui diskusi. Sumber penelitiannya yaitu siswa kelas III. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan Media Visual membantu siswa kelas III untuk peningkatan kemampuan mengarang cerita pendek pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat secara kualitatif adalah perbandingan dari pra tindakan 57.14%, siklus I 76.21% dan siklus II 81,85%. Dengan demikian, bahwa penggunaan media visual dapat mengalami peningkatan kemampuan mengarang cerita pendek. The main emphasis in teaching visual media is on the value of kongret in everyday life. The purpose of this research is to know whether the use of visual media can have an increased ability to write short stories on subjects of Indonesian Language grade III SDN Jatimulyo 3 Malang. The stages in the use of visual media are organised in working groups, plan task group activities, carry out studies, preparing a final report and evaluation of the learning activities that have been implemented. The researchers do research using qualitative approach with this type of research is research action class (PTK), a study that examines the learning process is associated with the use of optimization methods, media, learning strategies, learning improvement in activity is expected to experience increased process and learning outcomes of students. Order research activities include: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) and (4) observation of reflection. In the collection of data using observation, interviews, tests and documentation. For the checking of the validity of the findings of researchers using persistence observation, triangulation and friends through peer review discussions. His sources are grade III. The results showed that the use of Visual Media helps students to upgrading class III wrote a short story on the Indonesian Language subjects.     Body mass index increases CD4+ count in HIV/AIDS patients on first-line therapy

    Background The body mass index (BMI) may contribute somewhat to drug metabolism, thus affecting the efficacy of antiretroviral therapy (ART). CD4+ counts   in people infected with HIV are essential in determining the stage of the disease, initiation of antiretroviral therapy, opportunistic infections and evaluating treatment outcomes. The aim of this study was to determine the association of BMI and clinical stage with CD4+ counts in HIV patients seeking treatment using first-line antiretroviral therapy (ART). Methods An analytic study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted involving 251 HIV/AIDS patients who had received first-line antiretrovirals over six months. BMI, clinical staging according to WHO and CD4 + were collected. Multiple linear regression was used to evaluate the relationship between BMI, clinical stage and CD4+. Results Among the enrolled patients, the median age was 36 years, 135 (55%) of the patients was female, 102 (40.6%) was overweight/obese, 161 (64.1%) was in stage 3 of the disease, and the median CD4+ count was 389 cells/mm3. Multiple linear regression test showed two variables with a significant effect on CD4+ count, namely BMI (B=69.247; 95 % CI : 42.886-95.608) and clinical stage (B=61.590; 28.910-94.270). BMI was the most influencing factor for CD4+ count (β=0.307) compared to clinical stage (β=0.216). Conclusions Body mass index was the most influencing factor for CD4 + counts of HIV/AIDS patients. Regular ART can increase CD4+ counts and maintain the health of HIV/AIDS patients
